Efficacy of Calcium Phosphate Composite Bone Graft in Treatment of Periodontal Intrabony Defects: Clinico-Radiographic Study

Background: The loss of alveolar bone support is the main symptoms destructive periodontal disease. Periodontitis leads to formation interbony defects. For resolution infection, elimination IBD highly needed. filing and regeneration in therapy, different grafts are used. Objective: study aimed evaluate efficacy calcium phosphate composite graft patients suffering from intrabony problems. Study Design: It a randomized interventional conducted at Multan Medical & Dental College, DOW University Health Sciences, Karachi for duration six months December 2021 May 2022. Material Methods: was on 16 that fulfilled inclusion criteria. All completed follow-up. radiographic parameters were also evaluated. baseline data three analyzed plotted. Results: found primary closure carried out all patients. There no statistical significance between groups related depth defect walls number before operation. prominent reduction plague concentration gingival index. In case test group there greater as compared control. recession parameter seen both groups. difference observed here. Conclusion This helps provide significant results evidence easy crystal can be used treatment issues. Keywords: Intrabony defects graft.
